Day 15 of 30 Paintings in 30 Days: “Trust” Watercolor & Ink on Canson, 140 lb, 6×6
It has been a busy day, but I managed to squeeze in a little time for some painting and lettering. Psalm 31:1 was a part of my Bible study this morning.I couldn’t find my fan brush, but the flat brush did a pretty good job for the trees, I suppose. It’s not professional, but I am just a beginner after all. 🙂

I’m in awe of your ability to “letter.” That is not something I do particularly well.
Lovely post as always, Angela!

Oh, but your paintings are amazing! We all have strengths and weaknesses. I’ve been working on lettering off and on for a couple years, and I’ll keep working to improve. Thanks, as always, Lynn!

Oh, wonderful! I haven’t had time to explore your blog yet. Do you have samples of your work there? If not, may I encourage you to combine your art and writing skills together? Lynn Abbott of Through Ink and Image does that and encouraged me to do the same. It’s both fun and challenging.

I do sometimes combine my poetry and drawings but mainly my drawings are posted on my Instagram which is @LeonasDesigns if you are on Instagram you could see them all on there. 😊
