Born-again believer in Christ, wife, mother, teacher, artist, poet, blogger, pianist, singer… The nearly half a century that I’ve lived on this earth has blessed me with many experiences. I’ve had my share of joys and sorrows, victories and defeats, mountains and valleys, and all that has given me much to write about. I’ve lived all my life east of the Mississippi, but two short-term mission trips also took me overseas for a time. I hold a BA in English and have always wanted to be both a writer and a teacher. For the past 25 years, I’ve been fulfilling my dream of teaching, and now it’s time to start living the other half of my dream—that of being a writer. I love music and have praised God with my music ever since 1980.
