This poem is intended to be read both from the first line to the last and from the last line to the first.
Jesus offers us living water that springs up into everlasting life.
Did Jesus ever get that drink of water? I don’t know. But the woman went home forever changed by the living water.
I have never heard Him say “I love you,” But He wrote it in a Letter, and I have it to this day, and read it often.
Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved.
We need God to seek and to save us because left to ourselves, we will not seek Him.
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
"There was absolutely nothing I could do in my own power to overcome it.”
A prayer and praise for God's mercy
Our heavenly Father can be trusted. Put Him to the test. Go ahead. You’ll see.
