A tribute to Mother
We did not know this would be a special day until it came.
Troubles come to shake us up, to make us lose our grip on that which cannot save or satisfy.
The Lord is in the business of healing broken hearts, of mending wounds. He makes broken people whole.
I will not hide God’s righteousness, faithfulness, and salvation in my heart. No way! Those, along with His loving-kindness and truth, must be proclaimed.
Every sin hinders the sweet fellowship the Father longs to have with us. When we repent of sin, as David did, then our hearts will be light, and we will be ready once more to sing God’s praises.
Unto Thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if Thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Healing does not return us to what we were before the hurt....
“I will lift You up, O Lord, because You have lifted me up.” This reminds me of I John 4:19, “We love Him, because He first loved us.”
