from Day 8
“Waiting on God: Strong and of a Good Courage”
One of the chief needs in our waiting upon God, one of the deepest secrets of its blessedness and blessing, is a quiet, confident persuasion that it is not in vain—courage to believe that God will hear and help. We are waiting on a God who never could disappoint His people.
Murray, Andrew. Waiting on God (CLC Publications: Fort Washington, PA, 1999), 43.
I have deliberately limited myself to only twelve quotes from this book, as with every book which I feature here, but there is so much more that I wanted to share with you. Of course, I’ve shared these twelve clips to whet your appetite to want to read this devotional book for yourself, so by all means get this book and make it a part of your quiet time. Andrew Murray is one of my favorite authors, and his writings never cease to encourage, uplift, and convict my heart.
I agree I love Andrew Murray and read him all the time. I have his books on my kindle and take him wherever I go. ~ Blessings ~

That’s wonderful! I purchased several of his paperbacks to read, and have read them over and over again.
