This week’s challenge is to show you what I’d rather be doing. To be honest, I started working on this, got the first line done, then set it aside to go cook supper for my family. We sat down to eat, then decided to play a game.
You see, we used to have Family Game Night on a regular basis, but as the children got older we somehow we got away from it. Phase 10 is one of our favorite games, but our oldest son has it on campus at college right now. So out came the huge trunk of games from the garage. Low and behold, we had another set of Phase 10 cards, so we were in business! The dinner dishes were completely forgotten for the moment and we gathered back around the table to renew our Family Game Night.
So, in case you haven’t caught on by now, as much as I love to write and take photos, cook and eat, clean and work, I’d rather be playing with my family. And no, these photos are anything but professional. They were not edited or staged. I am totally vulnerable here, messy kitchen and all. Oh well, this is life. š
Proverbs 17:22Ā A merry heart does good like a medicine: but a broken spirit dries the bones.
I was going to go a totally different direction with this, and to be honest, I would love to elaborate more, but now it is morning, and my son is waiting for me to take him to the river to go paddle boarding. š Family calls….
my husband and I often play board games, hope our child will like it too:) #wpc

Such a honest account, no pretense. At the end family is most important.
