Day 30: I yield & You {refine} — eyesonjesusandshine
Will you ask the Holy Spirit what He wants you to know about your current season of refinement?
{ Deism, Drones & Death: Musings of a Homeschooling Mom. } — My Word Soup
Here is a post from a fellow home school mom that I know you'll love. Her writing style captivates me, and I know it will you too. What I am learning this week: When you plan a big party, remember to double-check to see if your mother-in-law’s invitation got sent. (I am in the process … Continue reading { Deism, Drones & Death: Musings of a Homeschooling Mom. } — My Word Soup
Acceptable in Thy Sight ~ Psalm 19
We are most happy and most fulfilled when our minds and days are occupied with how we can serve God by serving others.
Overcoming Self-Doubt
I will let Your perfection override my feelings of imperfection and do what You instruct me.
Once Upon a Time I Felt This Way
This poem is very thought provoking. The middle portion reminds me of 1 Kings 19:11-12 “…a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and broke in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.”

I Just Woke Up
I awoke, a traveler,
I do not know where I came from,
Or where I am bound,
Or if I am going anywhere at all.
Many have traveled before me,
So I am told.
Many will most likely come after me,

I hear about a lot of philosophies,
Lots of opinions,
Lots of directions,
About things that I know nothing about for sure,
And that seem to be of little consequence.
I usually keep that to myself,

WIVES ARE FLAWLESS
The word “flawless” means without defect or weakness in a person’s character.
We many times use the excuse that we are not perfect.
This leaves a lot of room for us to excuse ourselves for bad BEHAVIOR.
We were made by a perfect God who made us in His image.
Gen.1:27 “ So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”
When we look in the mirror in the morning, who stares back? Someone worn and aged? Someone who has a nose that is too big or too little?
Or do you see a child of God who is growing daily in his image?
What do you see when you look at your spouse?
Do you see someone who was made in the image of God?
You can be so occupied by your spouses
