My God, accept my heart this day,
And make it always Thine;
That I from Thee no more may stray,
No more from Thee decline.Before the cross of Him who died,
Behold, I prostrate fall;
Let every sin be crucified,
Let Christ be all in all.Let every thought, and work, and word,

To Thee be ever given;
Then life shall be Thy service, Lord,
And death the gate of heaven.
Copied from my grandmother’s hymnal, Hymn Book, Methodist Episcopal Church, South: Nashville, TN, 1901, Hymn #410.
Note: The hymns in this hymnal are not titled. So when I do not know the hymn, I make up a title or simply use the first line.

My Dear Readers
The first weekend of March I will be at my very first juried art show! That said, the next couple weeks will be dedicated to the studio, with less time given to my blogs. Some posts are scheduled, and I will check in from time to time to respond to comments, but please excuse me if it takes a little while. Thank you so much for reading! I’ll be back!
