FMF: Potential

old dusty player piano stopped mid-song

Piano lost its usefulness so long ago, they say.
nly fit for scrap or junk, for now it cannot play.
he keys have lost their ivory; the case, its brilliant shine.
ven on the inside all has fallen to decline.
ot so fast. Do not lose hope. Potential lies here yet.
he eye of one who sees what could be, now its gaze has set.
nstead of junk, there lies in store a wealth of works of art.
gain this instrument may sing new songs from a new heart—
ike music that the Master made in me with my new start.

2 Corinthians 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

This is my business… Encore! Old Pianos with a New Song

And here are some of the new songs from some of the old pianos…

  1. I play the piano so I was immediately drawn in by the photo. The pieces of art you have created are beautiful, and I love that something that would have been scrapped can be repurposed into something so lovely!
