old dusty player piano stopped mid-song

Piano lost its usefulness so long ago, they say.
O
nly fit for scrap or junk, for now it cannot play.

he keys have lost their ivory; the case, its brilliant shine.
E
ven on the inside all has fallen to decline.
N
ot so fast. Do not lose hope. Potential lies here yet.
T
he eye of one who sees what could be, now its gaze has set.
I
nstead of junk, there lies in store a wealth of works of art.
A
gain this instrument may sing new songs from a new heart—
L
ike music that the Master made in me with my new start.

  1. I play the piano so I was immediately drawn in by the photo. The pieces of art you have created are beautiful, and I love that something that would have been scrapped can be repurposed into something so lovely!
