flowers cannot lie
nor can the One who made them—
God loves you bunches
Day 8: He loves me!
Have you ever picked off the petals of a flower, saying, “He loves me… he loves me not…”? I have. I am not a botanist, and I don’t know the statistics, but it seems to me that in nature there are quite a few flowers that have an odd number of petals. And no matter how many or few petals a flower may have, if the number is odd, you are going to end on “He loves me.”
You don’t need to pluck the petals off a flower to know that Jesus loves you. He said so in His Word, and He demonstrated it by giving His life for you on the cross, then rising again to prove He has the power to redeem you.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
For Leslie Saeta’s September 30-in-30 challenge, I am creating greeting cards, and each week I’m experimenting with a different medium and/or technique. I’m not really very good at watercolor, nor do I have time to work on learning new skills this time around. But if I can use what little I know to be a blessing to a college student, then God will get the glory, and all will be well.
Angela, I don’t know which I love more… the art or the sentiment! This one is definitely my fave so far! 🙂 ❤ ❤

Oh, Lynn, thank you much! I like it too, a reminiscence of a childhood pastime that reminds us of God’s never-ending love.
