O taste
And see that God
Is good! Come satisfy
Your hungry soul at His table.
Drink the
Water
Of life, that you may thirst no more.
Be fully satisfied,
Then find your rest
In Him.
Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him.
John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, “I am the bread of life: he that cometh to Me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on Me shall never thirst.”
John 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

Cinquain, decastich – they sounds like names of exotic birds! 🙃

Very nicely done! I like to include Scriptures with my poems too, because they are most often my inspiration to write. It’s good to see somebody else that does this too. May God’s blessing be on your writing endeavors. 🙂

Thank you! Even when I do not overtly base my writing on Scripture, the Word of God still influences my writing because it colors all my thoughts. But most of all, I do love to point people to my Jesus. May God bless you and your writing as well.
