What God Has Promised

chickens-and-riding-lesson

What God has promised, He will do.
This phrase sounds trite, and yet it’s hard
By faith to walk
Instead of sight, for that takes trust.
I know it’s true
That to His keeping I must yield,
For Jesus longs to be my Shield.
I will not balk,
For I have come to rest beneath His wings;
His song of praise my happy heart now sings!

Ruth 2:12 The LORD recompense your work, and a full reward be given you of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to trust.
