Love the lighthouses! I know each of them well. We are long-time Ocracokers. My favorite place in the world. 😃

It is a beautiful place! My daughter and I took two days to drive (and ferry) down the Outer Banks this past April on our way home to Florida from Virginia. My goal was to photograph every lighthouse, but as you can see, I couldn’t get close enough to some of them. There just wasn’t time. But it was a most enjoyable drive. We also got to climb the Currituck Lighthouse.

Currituck is the prettiest, I think. But Bodie Island is my favorite. We always stay on Ocracoke but we generally take a day trip up the coast to visit them all. Cape Lookout is a fantastic setting too, but it’s a bit hard to get to. Beautiful place. 😃

I’ve been to the Bodie Island Lighthouse twice, but not yet inside. I took lots of pictures there. I agree, it is a beautiful place!
