Great Redeemer is His name
Walked on earth so long ago
Age to age He’s still the same
Death and hell He overcame
Conquering the devilish foe
Great Redeemer is His name
Mighty men made weak and lame
Kings and kingdoms come and go
Age to age He’s still the same
Suffering guilt He bore my shame
Sin is washed as white as snow
Great Redeemer is His name
Earth will soon go up in flame
Yielding such an eerie glow
Age to age He’s still the same
“Come up hither,” He’ll exclaim
Angel, get your trumpet, blow
Great Redeemer is His name
Age to age He’s still the same
