My heart cries out in anxious, bitter tears,
Sorrow known to none but God alone.
There, unashamed, I pour my soul
Out upon the ground to Him
Who sees, and knows, and cares.
Await His answer….
Silence greets me.
Then softly,
“Peace, be
Still.”
Psalm 28:1 Unto Thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if Thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

This is lovely, Angela! Sometimes we don’t need God’s words so much as we need just to know his presence with us. Visiting from FMF #33.

Thanks. They don’t all come this easily. I’ve been agonizing over a poem about chocolate for days. 🙂

Of course not! Our skills and talents are each unique and significant. I could never write the way you can.
