If it were up to me,
My life would be a shame—
For I would choose diablerie;
Disgrace would soil my name.
But look what God has done!
To shield me with His care.
He gave His one begotten Son
My guilt and shame to bear.
This poem was written as the header for one of the many volumes of my journal. I love to look back on old volumes to see what God has done in my life and in the lives of my loved ones.
